Guidelines for Prevention & Control of Influenza Outbreaks in Long-Term Care Facilities 2023-2024 Season

To: Long-term Care Facilities

From: Communicable Disease Branch, CDPHE

Dear Colleagues,

As a reminder during peak respiratory season, the 2023-2024 guidelines for responding to influenza outbreaks in long-term care facilities are posted on the CDPHE Infectious Disease Guidelines in Health Care settings website.

For questions about influenza outbreak guidance or to report an outbreak, please contact our influenza epidemiologist, Diane Ankovic (720.583.4107). If you need to speak with someone urgently, you can call the main communicable disease number: 303.692.2700. Outbreaks may also be reported to your local public health department and via this online outbreak report form.

We appreciate your partnership!
