CLIA Reimbursement Deadline: December 3, 2021

 

To: Residential care facilities (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, and Intermediate Care Facilities)   From: Residential Care Strike Team   CDPHE will discontinue the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waiver reimbursement program on December 3, 2021. Obtaining a CLIA waiver was mandatory for all long-term care facilities in order to perform required rapid testing starting in August 2021. All facilities should now have their waiver and have had ample opportunity to request reimbursement for the fees associated with applying.    All facilities still wanting to request reimbursement for their CLIA waiver should send a scanned copy of their CLIA waiver certificate to residentialcarestriketeam@state.co.us by December 3. Any requests received after December 3 will not be processed for reimbursement.
