Additional vaccine requirement stakeholder meeting Friday

 

To: Hospital Administrators   From: CDPHE   The Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division (HFEMSD) has begun the permanent rulemaking process after the State Board of Health adopted emergency (temporary) rules requiring vaccination for staff in licensed health care settings.    HFEMSD has presented a draft permanent rule language and has been receiving stakeholder feedback at public meetings held over the past couple of weeks. We will be holding a vaccine requirement stakeholder meeting specific to hospitals this Friday, September 24 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Please join us to stay informed and provide public comment during this process.   Friday, September 24, 2021 1 - 2:30 p.m. Register here   Those who are not able to participate in the meeting through Zoom can view the meeting here.   To receive the most current information, join the interested parties list. A large turnout is expected for these meetings and it is unlikely that everyone who attends will be able to provide public comment. You are encouraged to submit your written comments to cdphe.hfregs@state.co.us.    CDPHE is accepting comments through September 27 to allow enough time to review and incorporate the applicable feedback into the draft language to be presented to the Board of Health at their October 21 meeting.
