Please see the announcement for meeting dates and times for the Alternate
Treatment Center Healthcare Coalition, a forum for health care facilities in
Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert Counties to network, plan, and train on
emergency preparedness and response. The group meets the second Tuesday of
January, April, July and October 2014 from 8:30-AM - 10:30 AM.
You are
invited and encouraged to participate in the Tri County Health Department's
Health Care Coalition to help health care communities like yours be better
prepared to respond to any type of disaster. The purpose of the group is to
share awareness of existing resources available for disaster planning and
response, to train on processes and plans in place to access resources and
support through your local health department and to provide a networking
opportunity with other community members.
If your facility is located in
Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert Counties and is interested in participating
in the Tri-County Health Department's Alternate Treatment Center Coalition,
please contact Tri County's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response at
720-200-1477 or oep@tchd.org.
This blog publishes information typically sent to users of the Colorado Health Facilities Interactive (COHFI) system for health care entities regulated by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Please note that COHFI is the official medium for business communication between the Department and licensed and/or Medicare/Medicaid certified health care entities. Health care entities should continue to monitor their email accounts routinely.
