Guidance re: Eligibility for Performance Incentive Payments
Please click here for guidance regarding the performance incentive system,
which was enacted by House Bill 1294. The performance incentive payment is a 10%
rebate of the licensure renewal fee that facilities qualify for if, as part of
an onsite relicensure survey, they:
- fully and timely cooperated with the
onsite survey process;
- had no significant deficiencies;
- timely
submitted an acceptable plan of correction; and
- corrected deficient
practice in a timely manner.
The performance incentive system
regulations applicable to all licensed facilities – see 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter
II, Section 2.14 - became effective on March 17, 2014. (Note that home care
agencies were eligible for performance incentive payments prior to this date and
their processes served as a model in HB 1294 for expansion to all licensed
facilities.)
