Division leadership changes

 

To: ALR I would like to announce a key leadership change within HFEMSD. For over 10 years, Dee Reda has been the manager of the assisted living program. I am forever grateful for her dedication and determination in ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of the assisted living residents and leading the charge for ensuring compliance with regulations for the assisted living industry in Colorado. Dee will be transitioning into a new role in the education and training branch. She will assist with the development, training and education of new surveyors. With her extensive regulatory knowledge, Dee will be a huge asset to that branch, and I want to thank her for her dedicated service and wish her continued success in an already successful career at CDPHE.  Jane Flournoy, our current Behavioral Health and Community Services (BHCS) section manager, will assume Dee’s role. Jane will oversee both the BHCS and assisted living sections. Jane has held regulatory oversight roles for Colorado state government for the past eleven years, which has included state licensing, state designation, state certification, and federal certification work. Jane has served as a section manager within HFEMS since 2020. I am excited to work with Jane to continue serving the assisted living residents in Colorado.
