iQIES Survey & Certification New Functionality: Provider Forms

 

To: Home Health Agencies, Administrators, and OASIS Coordinators From: The Health Facilities Education and Quality (HFEQ) Branch of the Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division (HFEMSD) The iQIES team is excited to announce that an upcoming improvement will be made to the management of Survey & Certification (S&C) Provider Forms. This new functionality will allow users the ability to manage provider forms outside of the context of a survey, accessible through the Provider History page. Users will also be able to save a form as "In Progress" or finalize a form by marking it as "Complete".   In order to deliver this functionality, effective January 24, 2023, any existing saved forms will be automatically marked as "Complete" in the system. Once marked "Complete", the form will save as a record with all data that was entered at the time. Users will no longer be able to edit or delete the form. Therefore, please ensure that all provider form(s) are in a complete state by January 23, 2023, as they will be marked “Complete” and will no longer be editable. If there is an in-progress form in iQIES that a user can’t complete by January 23, 2023, the system will still mark this form as “Complete”. After January 24, users can create a new form and link it to the appropriate survey if changes are needed. More information regarding this process will be provided once the functionality is available in iQIES.  It is important to note that only forms that are available in iQIES (1572, 377, 417, 643) are affected. As new forms are introduced in iQIES, the new Provider Forms functionality will apply.  The iQIES team will be available on the S&C Office Hours call on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 to address questions on this subject, if needed.
