September 28, 2022: First Stakeholder meeting for updates to 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 5 – Nursing Care Facilities and Chapter 7 – Assisted Living Residences related to Senate Bill 22-079 (dementia training) and Senate Bill 22-053 (visitation rights)

 

To: All Stakeholders interested in regulations related to Nursing Care Facilities and/or Assisted Living Residences


From: HFEMSD You are invited to participate in the stakeholder process to review and update 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 5 – Nursing Care Facilities, and Chapter 7 – Assisted Living Residences, related to new statutory requirements put in place by Senate Bill 22-079 requiring dementia training and Senate Bill 22-053 defining patient rights to visitation.


The first meeting will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. All meetings will be held virtually, via zoom, to ensure equal access for participation, regardless of the geographic location of the attendees.


Meetings are open to the public, and all interested parties are invited to attend and participate. Meeting documents, including agendas, proposed rule language, presentations, etc., will be posted to the public meeting folder no later than a week before each meeting.
