Crisis Standards of Care Activated for Personal Protective Equipment and Emergency Medical Services

To: Hospital Administrators & Staff Governor Jared Polis has authorized, and State Chief Medical Officer Dr. Eric France has activated the Crisis Standards of Care (CSC) for personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency medical services (EMS).  You can view the health advisory here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qIPg491yc6Hc3JkQwIPw8wsyC2mBsJYb/view?usp=sharing The Crisis Standards of Care describe the medical standards of practice during times of crisis, including how the medical community should allocate scarce resources in the extreme case when health care needs exceed the resources available.
