HFEQ will offer classes on specific OASIS topics in Centennial and Pueblo featuring OASIS D1 items and PDGM guidance. You may choose to take sessions all at once or individually as your interest and needs dictate. All registration is first-come, first-served, even for sessions within a hosting facility.
Due to personnel changes within HFEQ, it is unclear when additional OASIS classes will be scheduled. HFEQ reserves the right to cancel classes with low registration. Early registration is helpful.
OASIS D-1 Basics (One Session): Course ID 1082008
This beginning three-hour class is how to get started with OASIS D-1.
OASIS D-1 Item-by-Item (2 Sessions): Course ID 1082009
This practical application class reviews item-by-item data set completion. We will follow Mrs. Green’s assessment, which will require two sessions to complete. Attendance at both sessions is required to complete this class. Participants should come to class with a laptop loaded with the software typically used for their assessments. We will set up a “dummy” record that will not be retained.
QAPI vs QMP Training for Home Health Providers: Course ID # 1087817
A real case with evidence from multiple sources will be presented for root cause analysis (RCA) and an impact & effort matrix. Quality Management Plan concepts and methodology as applied to home health (HH) licensure and federal regulation are discussed with real case elements and surveyor reports.
OASIS D-1 Quality Measures and iQIES Reports (One Session): Course ID 1066910
This course assumes familiarity with the OASIS D-1 Item Set, covering more advanced content and application. We will access compiled reports for participant’s individual facilities on iQIES. Participants should not arrive for class without the appropriate passwords and a laptop.
