COHFI Changes and Notes

Hi Everyone,

The Colorado Health Facilities Interactive system (COHFI, internally we pronounce it “coffee”) has now be active for a month. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we worked through the issues. We have learned some lessons and made some changes over the past month and this is a summary of that.

Tips:
  • The system works best in the Google Chrome browser. If you are experiencing an issue then please make sure you are using Chrome or the most recent version of your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
  • Once logged in, you can access the user manual by clicking on your username in the upper right corner. The user manual has instructions and videos on how to complete the most common tasks. It also has a list of known issues and a link to report new issues.
  • The workbench organizes the different cases based on where they are in the process. Clicking on the arrow to the left of the category number will expand the section to show you the details. The category “… with New Messages” is slightly duplicative as the case is still in process (i.e. pending approval), but it has a new message. It will appear in both categories.
  • Bookmark https://www.cohfi.colorado.gov/COHFI/Account/Login. The old portal system will be shut down after the Flu Vaccination reporting system.
  • Currently, there is no “message center.” Messages in COHFI are only for cases in process. Educational, public meeting, and other messages are sent via Constant Contact, including this message.

Changes:
  • You can now only add users to your facility by using their email address. Previously you could use their username or name.
  • You can no longer create usernames, passwords, or email addresses with spaces or invalid characters.

Thank you again for your patience and assistance in getting this new system working. We are continuing to make changes, refine processes, and fix issues. Please feel free to reach out to us if you are having issues or want to share feedback with us.
