The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing would like to inform all providers of the implementation of the new Adult Day Services (ADS) rule effective 10/31/18. The new ADS rule can be found on the HCPF website under CSR 8.491. Some of the main changes to the rule include new food safety requirements, additional medication administration and monitoring requirements, more detailed critical incident reporting requirements, and new ADS director qualifications. Please review the new rule at your earliest convenience.
