Reminder: Residential care facilities are required to follow the residential care facility mitigation guidance

To: Residential care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and intermediate care facilities)

From: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Residential Care Strike Team

As a reminder, Colorado residential care facilities are required to follow all residential care facility mitigation guidelines per Public Health Order 20-20. Counties started to revise mask orders across the state in recent weeks. However, source control and physical distancing measures for Colorado residential care facilities remain unchanged.

Source control information can be found starting on page 20 of the Residential Care Facility Comprehensive Mitigation Guidance. If the guidance changes, we will update facilities through our regular communication channels.
