Long-Term Care Facility Booster Shot Information and Resources

The CDPHE Residential Care Strike Team encourages all long-term care providers to consider the option that works best for their residents and staff when coordinating access to COVID-19 vaccines. We are working diligently to support your facilities so that you have the resources and knowledge needed to protect and keep your communities safe. 
 
The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (AMDA) is a community of more than 50,000 medical directors, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other practitioners working in the various post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) settings. 
 
As a way to assist the greater RCF community, we have collaborated with AMDA to provide the following COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shot materials:


For more information, visit the Strike Team Vaccination Page. All three authorized COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) are safe, effective, and free. You should get a booster dose if you:
 
  • Are 18 or older and received your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna at least six months ago.
  • Received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for your initial dose.
