HCPF memo regarding training on HCBS individual rights and rights modifications

 

To: Provider Directors   From: HFEMSD   The Department of Health Care Policy and Financing sent an Informational Memo to inform Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers, case management agencies (CMAs), individuals participating in HCBS waiver services, and families of waiver participants of the availability of pre-recorded training and the opportunity to ask questions about individual rights and the rights modification process, under the federal HCBS Settings Final Rule. The memo alerts providers and CMAs that their training is mandatory, and must be completed at any time before August 18, 2021.
