Direct Care Workforce Collaborative Meeting

 

To: Residential care facilities (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, and Intermediate Care Facilities) From: The Direct Care Workforce Collaborative The Direct Care Workforce Collaborative is a stakeholder-led group with support from the interagency Direct Care Workforce Group. The Collaborative was formed to help identify and elevate priority issues affecting the workforce and to implement strategies that support their priorities, raise awareness, and ultimately stabilize the direct care workforce. At last month’s kick-off meeting, the Collaborative formed a Foundational Leadership Group (FLG).   At the next meeting on Wednesday, February 10th, the FLG will present the group’s identified priorities and make recommendations on Collaborative focus areas, structure, leadership, membership, and voting. We are planning for a participant discussion as well. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into the challenges, priorities, and solutions.
