Recent discussions with a few Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) and the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association has resulted in the drafting of the attached document which identifies minimum recovery criteria to be achieved prior to patient discharge from an ASC to home or a lower level of care. The criteria will be used when conducting compliance surveys at ASCs.
