There is an upcoming vacancy for a facility representative on the Assisted Living Residence Informal Dispute Resolution (ALR IDR) Committee. This 5-member committee includes representatives from assisted living, state agencies (Health Care Policy and Finance and Ombudsman) and the Division's Assisted Living program. The committee meets the fourth Thursday of each month if requests have been submitted to the department for review.
Facility representatives must have experience as either an ALR administrator or an ALR consultant. We encourage facility representatives outside the Denver area to apply; committee members may, on occasion, participate by phone.
Facility representatives generally serve on the committee for four years. Each representative has an alternate with whom they may share voting responsibilities.
Interested facility representatives may submit inquiries or send a resume to elaine.sabyan@state.co.us. We will be collecting resumes through 10/31/2016.
