CDPHE's Hazardous Waste Division will provide a training class on the proper disposal of hazardous waste for healthcare facilities on the Western Slope. The draft agenda can be viewed here. Please share this message with anyone you believe may be interested in attending, including nursing home and hospital DON's and ADON's, administrators, pharmacists, ambulatory surgical centers.
The training class is for any healthcare facility that generates less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste and less than 2.2 pounds of p-listed hazardous waste on a monthly basis (CESQGs). This includes all long term care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, rural health clinics pharmacies, and all other medical facilities that fall into this volume category of waste generation.
