eLearning Business Continuity Program Designed for Healthcare Providers Serving Vulnerable Populations

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has partnered with The Colorado Hospital Association and Wakefield Brunswick to develop an eLearning Portal to assist healthcare providers with Business Continuity/COOP planning efforts. The portal went live on Monday, July 28th.

The portal provides a 6-module eLearning program designed specifically for healthcare providers. Specific case examples and plan templates for Long-Term Care are used. The materials are designed for those that are new to Business Continuity/COOP and those that serve in a supporting role to the emergency management coordinator. There is normally a fee associated with the course however CDPHE is providing FREE access for all Colorado long-term care facilities.

The course provides:
- Pre-recorded webinars in each module
- Resources to download
- Pre-populated templates for LTC in Excel and Word
