DFPC Rules Implementing HB 12-1268 and notice of informational meeting.

This message is from the Division of Fire Prevention and Control at the Colorado Department of Public Safety.

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control has adopted emergency rules concerning House Bill 12-1268 concerning Health Facility Safety Inspections. A copy of these rules can be found at:

The Division will be holding three meetings throughout the state over the next few weeks in order to allow stakeholders to comment on and discuss these rules and to suggest amendments for the final version. All interested parties may attend. The dates and locations are as follows:

Tuesday 7/30, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Pueblo
Parkview Medical Center
400 West 16th Street
Rosemont Room
There will be a one hour lunch break, with a cafeteria on site.

Thursday 8/1, 9:00 AM - Noon, Lakewood
710 Kipling Street
3rd floor conference room


Tuesday 8/6, Time TBD, Grand Junction
Location TBD
