Who we are: - Colorado Antimicrobial Stewardship Endeavor (CASE) offers education, tools, and expertise to support Colorado hospital antimicrobial stewardship programs (ASPs).
- CASE, Children's Hospital Colorado, and Denver Health created a no-cost app through Firstline with stewardship-focused infectious diseases guidelines.
- Participate in CARE PATH, a nine-month quality improvement project to implement Firstline and measure and improve pathway adherence.
Who should participate and why: - ASPs at acute care and critical access hospitals in Colorado
- Provide individualized feedback to your ASP to improve antibiotic use
- Voluntary and at no-cost
What is involved: - Four sessions between June 2024 and March 2025 with optional individualized consultations
- Using provided tools, measure prescriber adherence to antibiotic choice and duration for common infections
- Enter adherence data and CASE will provide an individualized feedback report for your ASP and leadership
