CPI-related Fee Increases for 2024 - 2025

To: All licensed facilities

From: HFEMSD

Please be advised that all license-related fees will be increasing by 8.01%, effective July 1, 2024. If you have already submitted payment for a license renewal that will be issued on or after July 1, 2024 that is not equal to the new fee based on this increase, you will be required to submit an additional payment to meet the difference in order to receive your license.

The Board of Health adopted rules in April that will increase all license-related fees in 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapters 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 26. As previously communicated prior to the Board of Health rulemaking hearing, the new fees will reflect an increase of 8.01%, the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood annual percentage change of the consumer price index (CPI) as calculated by the federal Bureau of Labor and Statistics and published by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Local Government.

Please note that fee increases will be implemented according to HB24-1417 in future fiscal years.
