Secure Transportation Rule Development – Small Workgroup Inquiry

 

To: All Stakeholders From: HFEMSD The Department is working closely with stakeholders to develop minimum standards for the Secure Transportation of an individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This process is a response to HB 21-1085 which directs the Department to develop minimum standards for Secure Transportation providers, which the counties will then enforce through licensing. In order to inform the minimum standards specific to staffing, operations, and medical and clinical standards, we are convening a small workgroup of those current providers of secure transportation services. If you are a current secure transportation provider in Colorado and are interested in participating in the small workgroup, please fill out the form at this link. The small workgroup will convene for a limited number of virtual meetings beginning in November 2021. The findings and recommendations from the small workgroup meetings will then be presented to the larger stakeholder group to reach consensus.
