Re: Limited Topic ALAC Meeting.
During the October 22nd Request for Hearing on the updates to 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 7, Assisted Living Residences, a Board member commented on the administrator qualifications being added at Part 6.3.--specifically that options (B) through (G) specify that the healthcare experience be during the previous 10 years, while option (H) does not include that requirement. The Division is interested in input and feedback regarding these administrator qualifications, and whether any changes might be appropriate based on the comments from the Board of Health. As the final rule packet, including any possible changes, is due to the Board by December 1st, the next scheduled ALAC meeting is too late to discuss this issue. Therefore, a short, limited-topic ALAC meeting to discuss the administrator qualifications in the draft rules will be held Thursday, November 19th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Due to the demands of COVID-19 response both at the Department and at assisted living residences, the Assisted Living Advisory Committee meeting will not be held on the CDPHE campus, but as a virtual meeting via Zoom.
