Webinar: State COVID-19 Response for Residential Care Settings - Strike Team Update

To: Residential and Skilled Nursing Facilities (Skilled nursing facilities, assisted living residences, intermediate care facilities, and group homes)

Community Stakeholders are invited to attend and participate in a cross-state agency bi-weekly webinar on the work carried out by the COVID-19 Residential Care Strike Team.

The Residential Care Strike Team is composed of representatives of the Governor’s office and state agencies that play a role in regulating and supporting residential care facilities: The Departments of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Human Services (DHS), Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), Public Safety (DPS) and Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

The Strike Team was established by Governor Polis in April 2020 to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in all high-density residential environments serving older adults and people with disabilities.

During these informational webinars the Strike Team will:
  • Provide updates on key progress made to-date, including data metrics
  • Share upcoming initiatives and areas of focus
  • Solicit feedback and answer questions from Stakeholders

All webinars will be recorded and posted. Visit the Residential Care Strike Team Website to access recordings and presentation material, as well as to find information about future webinars.
