January 15, 2024 Board of Health Rulemaking Hearing Regarding Birth Center General Rule Updates

 

To: Birth Center General Rule Updates Stakeholder Group and all stakeholders interested in 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 22 - Birth Centers From: HFEMSD Thank you to those of you who participated in the stakeholder process to implement general updates to 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 22 - Birth Centers. As communicated during our last stakeholder meeting, the Department went forward with a request for rulemaking in November. The Board of Health has granted our request and will be holding a public rulemaking hearing on January 15, 2025 at 10:00am to consider the proposed revisions to Chapter 22. Notice of the hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 24-4-103, C.R.S. You may provide your comments to the Board in advance of the January rulemaking hearing for their consideration. To submit written comments to the Board, please email cdphe.bohrequests@state.co.us. The Board also welcomes oral testimony regarding rulemakings and the stakeholder process at the hearing. To provide oral testimony, you must sign up before 5:00 pm on January 14, 2024. The time for giving oral testimony may be limited to 3 minutes or less.
