Requesting informal dispute resolution (IDR)

 

To: All licensed and certified providers   From: HFEMSD     Informal dispute resolution (IDR) is the informal opportunity for providers to dispute deficiencies citing noncompliance with pertinent federal and state regulations. IDR is available to all facility types.   IDR procedures vary based on facility type; the requirements for submitting an IDR request are set forth in the IDR instructions received with the facility’s Statement of Deficiencies. Please note: Selecting IDR in the Colorado Health Facilities Interactive (COHFI) system provides notice of the facility’s intent to pursue IDR, but does not meet the requirements for submission of an IDR request.     Elaine Sabyan
