To: Residential care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and intermediate care facilities) From: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Residential Care Strike Team and Infection Prevention Program In response to evolving COVID-19 response and monitoring needs, as well as changes in national guidance, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) will no longer require reporting of negative rapid and antigen SARS-CoV-2 negative test results. This change is effective immediately. Positive SARS-CoV-2 antigen test results and all (positive and negative) nucleic acid amplification/molecular SARS-CoV-2 tests continue to be reportable to CDPHE.
CDPHE has updated the Residential Care Facility Comprehensive Mitigation Guidance to include the changes outlined in this memo from Director Scott Bookman dated July 15, 2022.
