Updated EMResource Questions

 

To: Residential care facilities (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, and Intermediate Care Facilities)   From: CDPHE   This message provides an update on changes coming to questions in EMResource. On April 4, 2022, the following question was added to EMResource:   Question: COVID-19 vaccine clinic assistance  Definition: The RCF Mitigation Guidance requires facilities to hold a vaccine clinic before June 4, 2022. Does your facility require any CDPHE assistance to hold that clinic? Yes/No   Since adding that question, staff with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has been reaching out to help facilities provide vaccination clinics for residents and staff. On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, we will remove this question and facilities will no longer be able to make that request through EMResource. If your facility has not answered the vaccine assistance question or if your facility needs assistance with a vaccination clinic after not previously needing that assistance, you must submit that information through EMResource before Wednesday, May 11, 2022.    In addition to removing the vaccine clinic assistance question, the Residential Care Strike Team will add questions about the completion of vaccination clinics in residential care settings. These questions will gather two pieces of information: Date of clinic(s). Number of residents who received second booster doses.   Please make sure that you retain those two pieces of information after completing your clinic.   Reporting vaccine data into the EMResource situational awareness database is required per Public Health Order 20-20. The EMResource access form can be completed here for first-time users in EMResource. Training/support materials by facility type are outlined in the EMResource Guidance Document.
