To: Residential care facilities (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Group Homes, and Intermediate Care Facilities) From: CDPHE Residential Care Strike Team and Infection Prevention Program In an effort to make it easier for facilities to find transmission level CDC data, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment encourages the use of our Residential Care Facility Community Transmission Level spreadsheet to quickly find the transmission level in your county. The CDPHE spreadsheet is updated weekly on Friday mornings. This is the same data that can be found on the CDC’s website and can be used in place of the CDC Data Tracker. Please note: Facilities must use the Community Transmission Level to determine the appropriate testing cadence, source control, and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) required instead of the COVID-19 Community Levels (not for use in healthcare settings).
