The Residential Care Strike Team thanks all nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and intermediate care facilities for your continued reporting compliance into EMResource. In an effort to ensure reporting into EMResource is both relevant and efficient for facilities, the following changes have been made:
The following questions have been added into EMResource:
- Is your facility in conventional, contingency, or crisis levels of staffing?
- Conventional staffing: No anticipated staff shortages
- Contingency staffing: Anticipated staff shortages AND/OR facility is in an active COVID-19 outbreak
- Crisis staffing: Not enough staff to provide safe patient care
- Current residents eligible for a third booster dose (booster)
- Definition: Everyone ages 12 and older should get a third dose (booster). Individuals who received Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are eligible for a third dose at least five months after completing the primary COVID-19 vaccination series. A second dose of mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine is also recommended for those who are 18 and older and who were vaccinated with a dose of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine two or more months ago.
