Vaccination in residential care facilities a clear pathway to finish strong

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment recently released an updated Public Health Order and guidance that modifies mitigation requirements for residential care facilities. With these updates, the incentives to get vaccinated continue to add up. Hopefully, you’ve had the chance to check out the vaccine confidence special edition of our Latest in Long-Term Care newsletter.

We also want to share a series of flyers the state has produced for facilities to distribute to staff, residents, and family members. These flyers highlight the new guidance for residents and staff and have been separated by state and federally-licensed facilities where applicable. The flyers for family members outline current visitation responsibilities while also highlighting vaccination incentives.

See below for the specific flyer links. Although the guidance has recently changed, it may change again in the future. We will continue to update these flyers at the same links as guidance evolves.
