Direct Care Workforce Collaborative: Invitation to Apply for Leadership

The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (Department) is excited to extend an open invitation from the stakeholder-led Direct Care Workforce Collaborative (Collaborative) for interested members of the public to apply for 2021 leadership positions in the Collaborative and its Action Groups.

About the Collaborative

The stakeholder-led Collaborative was established in January 2021 to help identify and elevate priority issues affecting the workforce. The group is run by non-agency members who will help develop agendas, lead discussions, form partnerships, and receive reports and recommendations based on the three 2021 focus areas of the Action Groups:

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Training and Career Advancement
  • Awareness and Advocacy about the Value of the Workforce

The goal of the Collaborative is to implement strategies that support these priorities, raise awareness, and ultimately stabilize the direct care workforce.
