QAPI vs QMP Training for Home Health Providers: Course ID # 1087817


Date: February 18, 2020; Time; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Description:

During this course, participants will discuss & review critical thinking strategies, adverse, avoidable events, and root cause analysis (RCA). A real case with evidence from multiple sources will be presented and analyzed. Participants will actively conduct their own RCA using a fishbone diagram from the case presented. Additionally, anticipated and a hierarchy of interventions are reviewed while utilizing an impact & effort matrix.

We will discuss and reflect on Quality Management Plan concepts and methodology as applied to home health (HH) licensure and federal regulations. Participants will learn which data and how it is gathered and becomes information to inform QMP functions within a home health agency. In addition, we will discuss real case elements and findings to pull all of the concepts together.
