The Denver Office of Emergency Management; Denver Department of Public Health and Environment; Denver Health Paramedic Division; Denver Public Health; and the Metro Foothills Healthcare Coalition have teamed up to provide a healthcare facility emergency planning workshop. The workshop will address Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) emergency preparedness (EP) rule requirements and include an overview of risks, a review of the CMS requirements, a discussion of planning tools for healthcare facilities, and a panel of representatives for discussion and Q&A.
