To all Administrators,
Following some recent feedback received both directly from the provider community as well as from the Colorado Health Care Association (CHCA), the Department recently formed a work group with representation including both providers and leadership from CHCA to discuss and develop a plan of correction (PoC) guidance document. The guidance document was developed to not only address some confusion and concerns regarding departmental expectations for plans of correction, but to help facilitate the process and reduce overall rejections.
This document includes specific guidance and examples of acceptable PoC's to assist the NF provider community in the PoC submission process when deficiencies are cited during survey.
The following link will direct each provider to both the guidance document in addition to the power point presentation materials utilized during the most recent Long Term Care Advisory meeting.
