COC Fee Holiday for calendar year 2017

To Whom It May Concern;

This letter serves as notification of a one-time suspension of a Certificate of Compliance Fee for calendar year 2017 pursuant to Code of Colorado Regulations 8 CCR 1507-31concerning Building, Fire, and Life Safety Code Enforcement and Certification of Inspectors for Health Facilities Licensed by the State of Colorado.

Pursuant to Article 13.3 of 8 CCR 1507-31, the Division of Fire Prevention and Control (Division) will charge a $500 Certificate of Compliance Annual Fee.  Pursuant to Article 13.4, fees may be waived or modified when appropriate at the discretion of the Director of the Division.

Pursuant to Article 13.2.3, the Division has reviewed the fund balance of the Health Facility Construction and Inspection Cash Fund and has determined to provide a one-time suspension of the 2017 Certificate of Compliance Annual Fee totaling $500 for every Colorado facility subject to this fee.

Please note that any unpaid invoices from prior years are still due and Certificates of Compliance will not be issued unless all outstanding balances have been paid.
