Please Verify Your Health Care Worker Influenza Data

In February 2012, the Colorado Board of Health passed Rule 6 CCR 1011-1 Chap 02, regarding influenza vaccination of employees in licensed health care facilities. The goal of this rule is to promote patient safety by protecting vulnerable patients from influenza. The rule is designed to encourage health care facilities that are already appropriately implementing strategies to prevent influenza, to do so; to assist those that can improve; and to prompt others to adopt effective policies to prevent influenza.

For the 2015-2016 year, CDPHE is required to publish health care worker influenza data by facility in addition to the standard yearly report of aggregate data. Please review the below linked document to ensure that your community's data has been accurately captured.

Health care worker influenza vaccination is currently added per facility through the Health Facilities Portal in the Flu Vaccination Reporting section. If needed, you may view additional information including further instructions and screenshots of the reporting systems at: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/board-health-rule-influenza-immunization .

For questions about the rule or the data reported for your facility, contact customer service at 303-692-2836 or cdphe.fluvacreport@state.co.us.
