An additional item set (Section GG of MDS 3.0) with new assessment techniques will be expected for all SNF residents who reach the 100th day of Medicare Part A. This represents a new type of discharge for residents with a Notice of Medicare Non-Coverage (NOMNC), whether or not they continue to stay as residents in the same facility.
