Division IDR Policy Amended to Address ALR Facility Representation; Seeking Qualified Candidates for ALR IDR Committee

The Division Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) policy has been amended to address assisted living residence (ALR) representation on the ALR Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) Committee. Amended qualifications for participation are as follows: ALR facility representatives must have experience as either an ALR administrator or an ALR consultant. You may view this amended policy by clicking here and then selecting "Policies", and then the IDR Policy.

The Division collects resumes from facility representatives interested in participating on the ALR IDR Committee on an on-going basis. The five member committee includes representatives from facilities and agencies, including an Ombudsman and a representative from the Division’s ALR program.

The committee generally meets the fourth Thursday of each month to review facility challenges to the evidence surrounding disputed deficiencies. If no requests are received by the Thursday prior to the meeting, the meeting is canceled. Facility representatives on the committee serve for four years. Each representative has an alternate with whom they may share voting responsibilities.

Interested facility representatives may submit inquiries or send a resume to elaine.sabyan@state.co.us or call 303-692-2815.

Thank you.
Deann Conroy, Deputy Division Director, HFEMS
