Dear Licensed Health Care Facilities:
As many of you know, in February
2012, in an effort to protect Colorado's most vulnerable persons such as the
elderly, young children, and people with chronic medical conditions, the
Colorado Board of Health passed Rule 6 CCR 1011 Chapter 02, regarding influenza vaccination of
employees in licensed healthcare facilities. As part of this rule, licensed
facilities statewide are required to annually track the number of its employees,
licensed practitioners and students/trainees that are vaccinated against
influenza and report this data to CDPHE by March 31st of each year. Out of 2,020
licensed facilities required to report, 1,449 (72%) submitted data. Of the
facilities that reported, 1,136 (78%) reported that at least 60% of their health
care workers had been vaccinated against influenza, which was the target for
this year.

for Health Care Workers which you can find under the Board of Health Rule for
Influenza Immunization tab.
