Colorado Nursing Facility Culture Change
House Bill 09-1196 (C.R.S. 25-1-107.5) created the Colorado Nursing Facility Culture Change
Accountability Board which along with the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing
(HCPF) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)
annually grants funding to projects that improve the quality of life for
residents in Colorado nursing facilities.
