Residential care mandatory COVID-19 testing

To:
Residential care facilities (skilled nursing facilities, assisted living residences, group homes, intermediate care facilities)


We hope that you've been able to get set up in the Curative Software system and have begun testing per requirements set forth in Public Health Order 20-20. With the exception of State-run facilities, please be aware that all testing support through the State Lab has ended for residential care facilities. 
 
If you elects not to utilize the state-funded Curative testing that is provided to meet the requirements of PHO 20-20, you may obtain PCR testing from another lab at your own expense.
 
If you are electing to use Curative and haven't set up your facility in the Curative system, please do so immediately. If you have not seen an email with your credentials, please confirm who the contact is on your licensure and have it forwarded to the correct person, if applicable. If the information on your licensure is no longer accurate and you need a new onboarding email sent, please complete this form and a new email will be sent by Curative (note - this process will not be as fast as forwarding the original email if that is an option)
 
If you have not yet done so, please familiarize yourself with the Curative training website and all of their materials.

Important updates:

  • RE-ORDERS - The State is processing requests for additional kits as quickly as possible. We understand that some facilities did not receive enough kits in their initial order due to a recent outbreak or a recent rise in county positivity rate requiring more frequent surveillance testing. 
  • When submitting a re-order, please request enough kits to meet your testing needs for one month. 
  • Please allow 5 days for an order to be processed, fulfilled, and shipped to you. 
  • Stockpiling of kits is strictly prohibited. The State is monitoring and comparing orders with facility data.  

 
Finally, if you do run into any issues the Curative Support team is standing by to help at support@curative.com or 888-702-9042 - we have heard some facilities have encountered difficulty connecting as we are onboarding all 1,000 facilities so please keep trying if you need to leave a message or do not hear back from an email.
