At the August 1294 stakeholder forum, the Department announced that it intended to convene a stakeholder meeting on October 5, 2016 to discuss possible licensing fee adjustments for FY 17/18. However, after additional consideration and analysis, this meeting has been cancelled.
At this point, the Department has determined that a licensing fee adjustment is not warranted. Moving forward, the Department will continue to monitor its costs and resources to meet the expanding workload across Colorado's health care system and will consider any future adjustments accordingly.
As in the past, the Department will work to communicate any issues or adjustments with the stakeholder community on a regular and timely basis.

Please note that COHFI is the official medium for business communication between the Department and licensed and/or Medicare/Medicaid certified health care entities. Health care entities should continue to monitor their email accounts routinely.
