Training Events Announcement - Hazardous Waste Disposal for Health Care Facilities in Colorado on September 3, 2014.

CDPHE will be presenting two health care pharmaceutical hazardous waste disposal training classes in October, one located in Grand Junction and the other in Durango. Anyone in a health care setting that is tasked with handling or managing waste pharmaceuticals or laboratory waste would be prime candidates to take the class (typically administrators, DON's, Ass't DON's, pharmacists, etc). The goal of the class is to learn about hazardous waste regulations that impact your facility and how to properly manage your hazardous waste to achieve compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations.

Training topics include regulatory requirements, inspections, and FAQs/general discussion and will be held in Durango on October 4, 2016 and in Grand Junction on October 6, 2016 from 8 am til approximately 1:00 pm. Additional details included on the registration page (link included below).

There is limited seating so don't delay your registration.
