In February 2012, the Colorado Board of Health (BOH) passed rule 6 CCR 1011-1 Chapter 2 regarding annual influenza vaccination of employees in licensed healthcare facilities. For the 2021-2022 Influenza Season, data collection should occur from October 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022. Your final data needs to be reported by May 15, 2022 through one of the electronic systems listed below:
NHSN: If your facility reports data to NHSN, you can submit your healthcare worker influenza data through this reporting tool. For questions about NHSN, contact lynda.saignaphone@state.co.us.
Health Facilities Portal: To report healthcare worker influenza data, go to www.cohfi.colorado.gov/COHFI/. You should see a “Manage Users” button next to the facility name you want to report data for. Go to the top black bar and hover over “Vaccination Reporting” and click on “Flu Vaccination Reporting.” Once you have completed the reporting questions pertaining to your facility, click the button on the bottom left that says “Send Vaccination Report.” You will receive a popup message confirming your submission. We recommend taking a screenshot of this confirmation and keeping it for your records. If you need portal support, please send all inquiries to cohfi.support@state.co.us.
