Administrators, Managers and Regulatory Reporting Personnel**
Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division
Based upon the Division’s Chapter 2, Part 10 regulations, all licensed healthcare entities are required to report their healthcare worker influenza vaccination data each year. For the 2015-2016 flu season, a 90% vaccination rate is required in order to avoid other rule requirements such as masking of unvaccinated employees or maintaining written influenza policies.
Vaccination guidance and new reporting criteria are contained in the Influenza Vaccination Reminder, Guidance and Reporting Update which can be viewed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByqZDBabyNVSYllqaFFJYk1tUXM/view?usp=sharing
** For facilities and agencies that use the HF Portal system to report their vaccination data, please share this information with the individuals responsible for that reporting function.
For questions regarding the rule, please contact Tamara Hoxworth at 303-692-2930 or Erica Bloom at 303-692-2789.
This blog publishes information typically sent to users of the Colorado Health Facilities Interactive (COHFI) system for health care entities regulated by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Please note that COHFI is the official medium for business communication between the Department and licensed and/or Medicare/Medicaid certified health care entities. Health care entities should continue to monitor their email accounts routinely.
